Content Writer Position - Financial, Mortgage, Insurance
Responsibilities
We are looking for professionals who are gifted and experienced in a wide range of editorial skills:
- research and copy generation, features and news-writing, clear English, Mandarin and Malay editing, writing for the web Portal, Magazine and etc.
- Ideally, you should have a number of years post-qualification experience as a journalist, blogging, public relations consultant, copy-writer, editor in a newspaper, magazine or an online media company. Experience in online communications, marketing and/or usability will be an added advantage.
- Manage, design and develop content for the Home Loans, Financial, and Insurance, Arts/Artists Industry blogs, web portal and magazine.
- Liaising and coordinate with relevant organization for information and write-ups
- Ensuring the consistency of editorial style, voice and quality of content by performing editing work (editing, proofreading, etc)
- Translation of contents in English, Malay and Mandarin
- Coordinating web editing processes and timeline
- Admin tasks when necessary to ensure grasp of whole spectrum of work
- Responsible of data accuracy
- Ability to research, write, and file copy within tight deadlines
- To manage readers’ feedback and communication on issues related to editorial
Requirements
- Candidate must possess at least a Diploma in Journalism, Mass Communications, Advertising/Media or equivalent.
- Required skill(s): Writing, Editing, Translation.
- Excellent command of language in English, Mandarin, and Bahasa Malaysia
- Experience or familiarity with web-based Content Design and Development would be helpful.
- At least 1 year of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
- Preferably Junior Executives specializing in Journalist/Editor or equivalent. Job role in Journalist/Writer or Editor.
- Willing to work long hours and in challenging environment.
- Able to meet tight dateline.
Full-Time and Contract position available.
