Toys your children good at

  1. There are so many toys and choices nowadays for children. My Jonathan has started to show interest in one particular toy and has since kept aside all his other toys.

He has started to like the Remote Control cars. The interest started about 2 months ago when once a while I'll bring out my old RC car to show him some "magic" trick. Now, he's showing me the magic trick that cars can move where we tell it to go.. haha..

What toy does your children fascinate most?

Talking about toys, my girl only likes a certain toys for a short period of time. Therefore, I seldom buy toys for her because I know the toys will surely ended up keeping in store room.

One thing, Sarah enjoy playing with water and empty bottle or tupperware.

  3. My kids likes to play with non-toy items like container and even remote control..

As for toys, we usually do not open up all at one time.Once they are bored we will keep and get another set open..then we do rotation. Kids as they grow they will see the toys as different toys even though it was the same toys played when they were younger...

  4. Yeah, forgot to mention that Jonathan loves the pots, pans and even the slow cooker's cover. Just anything that he can bang to create a sound. Yesterday he was creating music with the stainless steel mug and its cover as if a cymbal. Cheng, cheng, cheng...

I find that he don't show much interest in educational toys. He is getting more impatient with the shape sorter.

My two years old son like vehicles, especially toy car, regardless those manual car or remote control car. Unfortunately he is a "destroyer". He will dismantle each part of the toy until the toy get damaged or missing parts and malfunction. His daddy decided not to give him any expensive toy car until he learns how to take good care of them.

He like to read books which has cars. I described to him how a car's engine work by bringing him to his uncle's car workshop, off course with the book to illustrate. He can now tell me the simple steps such as, when the spark plug creates sparks, explosion happens in the cylinders and thus push the pistons. Pistons then push the crank shaft that connect to the wheels. Car can then move.
